– August 2012 – August 2012

The August issue is out. Here are a few highlights:

Very topical this summer: the ageing population and the affordability of pensions. Henri den Boer of Nationale-Nederlanden tells us how NN wants to make people more aware of what part they can play in their pension planning.

Wilfred Nagel, chief risk officer, explains how ING deals with risks. “There is no return without risk, but you can ensure that you don’t run any more risks than necessary,” according to Nagel.

First SRI road show

We also focus on ING’s first Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) road show, aimed at sustainable investors. According to ING, this group deserves special attention because these asset managers own a substantial number of ING shares and as such are important stakeholders for ING.

Green financing

And an example of ING’s green financing. We take a look at Koppert Cress, which is able to expand its operations thanks to a green loan.

Also in this issue, the second quarter figures are explained. And why is ING Bank launching a Savings Monitor in Turkey? And what is the aim of the new ING International Survey?

You can also visit ING’s updated vacancy portal.

The next issue appears in November.
