ING won silver and gold for its 2014 annual report ‘Empowering people’.

ARC Awards 2015

The 29th Annual International ARC Awards – the world’s largest annual report competition – announced the Grand Award winners today. The winners were deemed the Best of Category. ING was also shortlisted for gold in the Digital Impact Awards for ‘best online annual report’.

ING was awarded ARC Gold and Silver awards in two different categories: Gold in the Traditional Annual Report category, and Silver for ING’s Interactive Annual Report (or: Annual Review), both in the category Banks: International.

“We are thrilled with these prizes,” says Egmont Philips, head of External Communications at ING. “Last year’s report was a new reporting initiative, involving major collaboration between our finance, sustainability and communications departments as well as our business lines.”
The ARC Awards, established by MerComm, Inc. in 1987, were created to honour overall excellence in annual reports, and to encourage noteworthy and vital writing, as well as imaginative and original design. The ARC Awards is sponsored by MerComm, Inc., the world’s only independent awards organization.
