Allianz Group is a worldwide financial services provider headquartered in Germany.
ING Canada acquired Allianz of Canada in 2004. It consisted of a portfolio of personal and small to medium sized businesses. Allianz of Canada was integrated into ING Insurance. To finance this acquisition ING Canada executed an initial public offering and is now listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
