Bank Mendes Gans N.V. (BMG) was founded in Amsterdam in 1883 by Isaak Mendes and Julius Gans. BMG is a wholesale niche bank for liquidity and information management services. It is one of the most prominent cash management specialists in the world. ING initially bought a stake of 59% but expanded this to 93% in 1997.
