ING Group

ING Group was founded in 1991 by NMB Postbank Groep and Nationale-Nederlanden.
The new company, Internationale Nederlanden Group (ING) was a combined Bank-Insurer-Asset Manager. It had at its disposal a wide variety of distribution channels, a strong position in the retail and corporate sectors and a solid financial basis. Since its birth in 1991 ING has grown into a group with an outstanding international reputation. By acquisitions and organic growth ING has grown into one of the largest financial institutions in the world.
