The five finalists of this year’s ING Unseen Talent Award have been named. They are Elena Aya Bundurakis (Greece), Ulla Deventer (Germany), Irene Fenara (Italy), Kevin Osepa (Curacao) and Karolina Wojtas (Poland).

Each year ING teams up with contemporary photography platform Unseen to expose new photography talent in Europe. The winners of the eighth edition will be announced in Amsterdam on 19 September.

In the run-up to the finals, the five artists will create new work around this year’s theme ‘Nature of Change’ under the mentorship of Adam Broomberg, professor of photography and one half of artist duo Broomberg & Chanarin.

The jury prize is a €10,000 project fund. From the beginning of September, the public can also vote online for their favourite artist, who will be commissioned to create a new work for the ING Collection.
