Global Finance magazine has announced the winners of its World’s Best Global Banks 2017 Awards, where for the first time ever it has named the Best Bank in the World. The winner is ING.

Winners were selected together with corporate financial executives, analysts and bankers throughout the world, based on the banks’ performance over the past year, reputation, and management excellence.

“It’s a great honour to accept Global Finance’s Best Bank in the World award on behalf of all my colleagues, who work hard every day to give our customers the best possible experience.” said Ralph Hamers, CEO of ING. “We constantly look for ways to make banking easier and help our customers make sound financial decisions.”
