Resource scarcity (circular economy)
The amount of resources available to manufacture products is not unlimited, so we must use them responsibly.
Today’s economy is slowly shifting from ‘linear’ (take, make, dispose) to ‘circular’ (reduce, reuse, recycle). ING wrote a report (PDF 8 MB) on this circular economy, which gives insight into how 15,000 consumers in 15 countries use the shared economy and what effect that can have on economies worldwide.
