ING recognized European Top Employer

Five ING business units were awarded “Top Employer” certificates. Find out which units and why.

Recently, ING has reached a milestone: Belgium, France, Italy, Spain and Poland received the 2014 ‘Top Employers’ certificate. Additionally, ING received the 2014 Top Employer Europe award – an external recognition of our commitment to our employees.

The Top Employers certification is only awarded to organisations that achieve the highest standards of excellence in employee conditions.

ING global head of HR, Hein Knaapen, says: “This external recognition is great! It enhances the pride of employees to be working at ING. We are happy with the Top Employer Europe award, but even happier with what is behind it. We are on the right track, but it will be an ongoing commitment to remain a Top Employer.”

This recognition as a European top employer has also supported one of ING strategic pillars, the ambition to become a top employer.
