ING appoints Martin Krebs as global head of Retail Investment Product Solutions

ING Group has appointed Martin Krebs as the Bank’s global head of Retail Investment Product Solutions. Martin’s appointment is in line with ING’s Think Forward strategy to create a differentiating customer experience, empowering customers to take smarter financial decisions.
This newly-created role covers the investment product businesses in ING’s Retail Banking business units in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Australia, Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Romania, Spain and Turkey. Martin and his team will be based in Frankfurt, Germany, where ING is the market leader for online retail investments with more than one million custody accounts.
Martin Krebs
Martin Krebs joined ING Germany in 2003 and has been a member of the Executive Board of ING-DiBa since 2006, responsible for the Investment Product business, Treasury, Commercial Banking and Economic Analysis. Martin will start in his new role on 1 January 2016 and will report directly to Aris Bogdaneris, ING’s head of Challenger & Growth Markets and Member of the Management Board of ING Bank.
