ING in FTSE4Good Index

ING again included in the 2013 FTSE4Good Index Series.

“Companies in the FTSE4Good Index Series have met stringent social and environmental criteria, and are positioned to capitalise on the benefits of responsible business practice,” according to FTSE4Good on 26 June 2013.

The FTSE4Good Index has been designed to objectively measure the performance of companies that meet globally recognised corporate responsibility standards. Market analysts and managers of socially responsible funds use the FTSE4Good Index and similar indices as a valuable tool to assess and select companies before buying or recommending their shares.

ING Groep N.V. currently scores 4 out of 5 on the environment dimension. ING is committed to improving key aspects of its environmental management system to achieve a lower operational carbon footprint.

ING has been included in the index in each of the twelve years since it was established in 2001.
