Generative AI at ING

Developments around generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) – a type of AI that can generate new content based on what it learns – are coming thick and fast. Our chief analytics officer, Bahadir Yilmaz, explained how ING experiments with GenAI in an interview for The Banking Scene.

“We are looking at different angles where GenAI might help. Firstly, from a risk reduction perspective, and secondly, from a customer experience perspective. We think GenAI can boost productivity, while fully maintaining a human in the loop. We can enhance our current operating model by applying the technologies made available by GenAI”.
