Innovation in action
The bi-annual Bridgestone World Solar Challenge is more than a test of speed across 3,000 kilometres of the Australian Outback. It’s a race of strategy, endurance and innovation, challenging university teams from around the world to design and build cars powered only by the sun.
“Seeing what this group of highly motivated students has accomplished together is truly amazing,” said Mark Pieter de Boer, ING Wholesale Banking’s chief commercial officer.
“They are an example to me of how we can keep pushing innovation – not just in sustainability, but in everything we do.”
