ING to book goodwill impairment in second quarter
ING announced today that as a result of the impairment test triggered by the Covid-19 pandemic, it expects to book approximately €300 million as an impairment on the goodwill on its balance sheet in its second quarter 2020 results. The goodwill is related to a number of acquisitions in the past.
Two day extension of AGM Record Date for ADS holders
As reported, ING has scheduled its Annual General Meeting for Tuesday 28 April 2020. Next to shareholders, also holders of American Depositary Shares (ADS) are eligible to attend the meeting and to exercise voting rights. They can do so if they are holders on the US Record Date, which is 27 March 2020.
