As ING’s management board found out this week, inspiration for exciting, innovative ideas don’t necessarily have to come from those wearing black turtlenecks!
The ING Kids Council, made up of children from ages nine to 11 from the International School of Amsterdam, dropped into ING’s headquarters in Amsterdam on Wednesday to present innovation ideas that go beyond banking.
And if the reaction from board members was any indication, the ideas were warmly welcomed. As board member Isabel Fernandez pointed out, “children have open-minded views on the world”.
“They are ones that bring us ideas that we haven’t thought of,” she said.
