Following the publication of our 3Q2015 results today both our CEO Ralph Hamers and our CFO Patrick Flynn spoke to various media. Below you will find an overview of the tv and radio interviews that were published online.

Ralph Hamers on BNR Nieuwsradio (Dutch audio only)

In the interview Ralph Hamers touches upon the Dutch and the Eurozone economy, which he really sees recovering now. He also elaborates about the fact that price should not be the differentiator in banking, but the products and services offering to customers is. And ING has proven successful with that again in the last quarter.

Patrick Flynn on Bloomberg TV

With Bloomberg, Patrick Flynn talked about the restoring credit environment and ING’s solid performance in Q3. The dividend policy was also part of the interview, restating what we already said with Q2. The question whether ING is involved in any takeovers right now Patrick Flynn answered that “a lot of that is hot air”.

In this interview Patrick Flynn emphasized that Europe’s economy is starting to show more green shoots, but that we have seen most of our growth coming from outside the Eurozone. Improving the asset mix and expanding into lending in certain areas of commercial banking, is one of ING’s goals.
