Funding strategy
ING is a frequent issuer in the debt capital markets, both as part of our regular funding operations and to issue capital instruments. To achieve a well-diversified funding base these issues are done in various currencies, jurisdictions, maturities and formats, with fixed or floating interest rates.
ING issues at ING Group level and at ING Bank level.

The maturity profile of senior unsecured debt issued by ING at end-1Q2024.
1 Tier 2 maturities are based on the first call date instead of contractual maturity. All HoldCo senior bonds are based on contractual maturity, excluding RMBS.
