Best Investment Bank Award

Commercial Banking has been named 2012’s ‘Best Investment Bank in the Netherlands’ by top international finance magazine, Global Finance.

The prestigious award recognises the leading position ING Commercial Banking has built in the Netherlands. ING played key roles in many of the Netherlands’ most important transactions of the past year, providing solutions such as mergers and acquisitions advice, syndicated loans, as well as origination and distribution in equity and debt markets.

The Global Finance Best Investment Bank award is based on criteria such as market share, number, size of deals, service and advice, structuring capabilities, distribution network, efforts to address market conditions, innovation, pricing or market reputation.

Maurits Duynstee, global head of Corporate Finance said he was happy to win the award for the second consecutive time. "I feel very honoured with the reputable Global Finance award. It is recognition of our strength in the Dutch market and demonstrates our understanding of our clients’ needs in challenging market circumstances. This award is further proof of performance that we can be proud of."
